tbh couldn't you just firstly warn for it and then after for example 4th warn ban? That basically means someone can break the rules 5 times before they get banned. Even breaking any of the rules once is unacceptable. Serious violations of the rules will get members banned immediately. Thus, 2 violations is equal to a serious violation. There are many members whom I have banned without warning in the past, often due to complete disregard to rule 3 especially. Members who choose not to regard any of the rules will be treated likewise.

Honestly I think it was a good decision as swearing should never be allowed. All in all everyone should be able to express their feelings without using such words

Honestly I think it was a good decision as swearing should never be allowed. All in all everyone should be able to express their feelings without using such words We’ve all had plenty of reasons to want to drop more than one f-bomb in the last year. Living in a pandemic has given us all cause to express our frustrations, whether from the ongoing confusing restrictions to the fear of what may happen if you contract the coronavirus. But used appropriately and responsibly, it turns out that sporadic outbursts of cursing, cussing, swearing — whatever the heck you may call it — are a good way to process the chaos of being human in a world where much isn’t under our control. “Swearing can have a truly liberating effect when we’re feeling bottled up with frustration. Saying the F-word, or similar, can have an immediate calming impact on the difficult emotions we might be experiencing,” Dr. Raffaello Antonino, a counseling psychologist and the clinical director and founder of Therapy Central, told Healthline. Using profanity remains a controversial issue because we are living, feeling human beings who are tossed into a complex world built long before we were born. There’s shared experiences, language, social norms, and the constant battle between inanimate objects and fragile human beings with complex sensory networks. But those networks created language, and in that language are many four-letter words, some of which only a devil would advise to utter during a worship service, despite the heavenly number of combinations in which they can be used. This includes the seven words George Carlin so famously pointed out that you can’t say on television. “People often swear when they are stressed, faced with a challenge, or are otherwise experiencing an increase in the activation of their sympathetic nervous system. When people swear, they experience a release, either slight or significant, in physiological and psychological stress,” Dr. Kyle Zrenchik, PhD, a couples and sex therapist and co-founder of All In Therapy, told Healthline. “What a tremendous gift we have: no pills, no side effects, no copays. We have a totally natural, free, and readily accessible way to take the edge off of things, even if just a bit,” he said. One such way is by aiding in short-term pain relief, like when you stub your toe on the coffee table.

Hey, I see your point. Everyone reacts to stress in a different way (I do mma). I also understand why swearing help some people to chill. I left discord long time ago so I don’t know what happened exactly but it doesn’t change my way of thinking about this - ie. I wouldn’t swear in school because it’s against the rules. It applies also everywhere else. Just my point of view. But I see that forum was abandoned and probably more things were going on lately which I don’t understand.

We're not gonna stand for some grown-up who strictly bans expletives simply because he "doesn't like seeing them". Maybe we've encountered an incredibly stupid person (I have, a lot) and trying to talk some sense into them. Or maybe it's just regular, casual talk. Having the ability to swear feels more liberating and free. It is scientifically proven to increase pain tolerance, as well. I don't know, you gotta be a real baby to be so bothered by casual swearing. Welcome to the internet. About what you missed, many things have happened. I turned to the official side for a few months at one point but came back later, then left this cesspool once and for all because: 1: Ra1pid got even more strict about swearing, muting, kicking and banning on the server. 2: Ra1pid supported and defended the stupid people from me who was trying to talk sense into them. Not the first time he's done this in the past.

I’m not offended by that but if I see a person who can’t make a sentence without a F word I assume he might be a wrong person to hang out with.

Anyone can speak without the incessant need to drop the F-bomb. Including us people who left. Anyways, that's only an occasional thing and most of the time, not needed.

My way of thinking hasn't changed. People like you seems like they have nothing against insulting others for no reason and are mad when someone tell them to stop. You called me retard for saying what I think. Congrats, that's really sweet of you. But not only you. Nearly every person who was acting like you and made Ra1pid mad are just liars who want to justify their actions. You don't have to prove me wrong, because now I can see that ror rebels can't handle that amount of toxicity coming from frustrated 14 yo teenagers trying to look like grown-ups by harsh talk, swearing and insulting.

Oh. I don't exactly remember getting pissed at people for absolutely no particular reason, but I do have a feeling that that has happened on numerous occasions. I keep saying it to people, I have reason to be like that often time. Would I call someone a retard for liking the GH2 Impreza more than the GC8 Impreza? No, I respect their opinion. Would I call someone a retard for continuously begging and being annoying despite being reprimanded over and over again? Absolutely. I don't know what you've seen, and I don't know how you've taken what you've seen. I as well as the others who have left have all agreed that it's not us people who were being profane and such who turned RoRRebels into a wasteland. It's the leader of the RoRRebels who couldn't take such trivial things lightly and preferred to be the super-pacifist he always was. And to all of you people who prefer to always be nicey-nicey goody-two-shoes to everyone, every time with clean words in the face of even the most braindead of people, it's not healthy because they'll end up staying stupid and continue to do the same thing.
Say, F12. Have you heard of something called "growing up"? Yeah, I'm quite certain all that you have seen is of me before. Don't go making such assumptions with outdated information.
(I'm 15 btw, even I cringe at my 14-year-old self every night, even thinking of past fights and wondering on how I could have handled them better)

Hey, I absolutely understand why you might be upset sometimes. You don't mind showing that something is irritating on the outside and that's fine, I usually also react more aggresive when it comes to deal with something that annoys me (I can recall one situaton from the past - when someone from here whose nickname I don't remember was a bit annoying - as I had him enough I gave him a 1 week ban or something like that. You see, when I was young (looong time ago) I also was doing things that I regret but when I wroted 14 yo I had something else in mind. Especially one thing I noticed, which is behaving in a wrong manner on purpose just to make someone even more upset or angrier. This is something I will never understand and I acknowledge this with young age (not really good thing to do as there are a lot of "grown ups" who does the same). Sorry if my messages made anyone upset, I might sound a bit annoyed as well but that's who I am and I'm fine with sticking with the people who have simillar rules set for themselves especially ones connected with swearing as I don't do it and I don't like to hear it. All the best, ex f12berlinetta
