Voila! This has been a long time coming, started in the middle of December. That was a bad time considering that since it was the holiday season, I didn't get the chance to work on the Accord. But now, through much struggle, trial and error, the SILVER COMET is finally released. It has struck.
Credits:
Gabester: Original Honda Accord
ERC Team: Initial edit of Gabester's Accord
Me (SauberC9SilverArrow): Putting it all together and other edits
Ra1pid: Retro bodykit, exhausts, and most prop placements
DODGE charger: Roof scoop, front bumper, and rollcage
Derbymutt: Sparco 2-Pillar steering wheel (no shaft connecting it to the dash)
Turn10Studios: The Recaro racing seat from their Aston Martin DBR9
Alexey Alexeev: Converting that seat to RoR (as seen on the Gavril GV3 Drag Car)
Twisted Thoughts: Primary double NOS shot
Dirtymax Team: Secondary double NOS shot
DirtGamer301: Rear spoiler and CLK rims
Razz "Kiran" Raven: Tow hook license plate
Note that accelerating and turning at high speeds puts a lot of stress on the car since the shocks are very stiff. This means that when you do this, a lot of the panels on the car plus the rollcage will rumble as you go. This also decreases the car's health.
She shines a lot. Given a good polishing to bring out the body's shine. Lots of wax.
There were plenty of suspension issues, but most of them were remedied by the stiffening of the shocks, which in turn created a new problem. Yeah, that stress issue.
Had a bit of trouble with prop placement. Gotta thank Ra1pid for that.
Here's some images. Gorgeous, ain't she?
